Our Story

Grown from

Nepal's Soil

Rokka Group was established in 1978 with a singular conviction: that Nepal's extraordinary forest heritage, managed responsibly, could sustain both nature and commerce for generations.

Founded by Basanta Rokka Chhetri as a modest timber trading venture in Hetauda, the group has diversified into timber processing, herbal extracts, catechu, resin products, pine derivatives, and premium treated wood.

Chairman's Message
“From day one, we have believed in the power of local resources to create products that meet the highest global standards.

What started over 45 years ago as a modest timber venture — Nabin Kastha Udyogh Pvt. Ltd. in Hetauda, 1978 — has grown into a dynamic conglomerate spanning wood processing, Kattha production, herbal extracts, and resin products. At the heart of our growth lies Nepal's forest resources and our mission to harness them responsibly.

Looking forward, our vision is to lead Nepal's export economy, reduce the national trade deficit, and expand global partnerships while always safeguarding our environment. As we enter 2026, Rokka Group is prepared for exponential growth, embracing technology while honoring our heritage and stewardship of nature.
